Hi there, Yesterday was our day off! And some spent it staying at the house whilst Cass organised a sightseeing trip to the picturesque fishing village of Valparaiso just over the next hill. It was a glorious blue winter day and we even had time to walk along the seashore last night, where the markets were. I think everyone bought a woollen hat with plaits on it and the girls bought leather bracelets as well.
Today we were left waiting for the mini-bus for a few hours as they sent the wrong one but we finally made it home at about 3pm where they kids had a huge practise session in preparation for sign in in Santiago tomorrow. A huge meal of tuna pasta was cooked and demolished as well.
Steph's dad arrives tomorrow and the kids are all going to pick him up from the airport. We are also finding accommodation for the week after Santiago as the tournament is in Conception which is an 8 hr drive down south. We are also starting to organise the trip to Brazil as visas are required by everyone.
The kids are getting really excited to have another crack at a tourament as now they have a real taste for it and are fully pumped to go. Wish them luck!
