Griffith MIA Tennis Open 2014

Indeep just returned home from the Griffith MIA Open 2014 with a raft of trophies and prizes! This is our 4th year returning and we love this tournament. The people are amazing, the weather is cold but glorious and the country food is tops. We travelled down in the Indeep people mover in just over 7hrs.

Stevie played very well coming Runner Up U18s and with Matty in the doubles.
Matty won the U18s consolation as well.
Khobi won U12 singles and doubles with his brother, Chase. He also won the Father/Son title with Dad! Chase won U12 doubles with his brother and also took out the Parent/Child title with his Dad.

The best thing about Griffith is playing on clay. Sliding around in all that red dirt is such a great experience for the players... and just really good fun.

Pete Solway Takes The Title!

A huge congratulations goes out to Pete Solway after taking out the ACT 16 and under Junior Champs. Pete went through the whole tournament without dropping a set. This was a great effort from Pete as it has been a testing 18 months. The first tournament for him injury free as he has been through a massive growth spurt. This is the beginning for Pete and I am sure we will see him shoot up the rankings. Keep up the great work Pete. Short term pain for long term gain!!
